CERES Data Parameters


CERES algorithms calculate TOA flux measurements from the CERES three scanning thermistor bolometer radiometers at the Top-of-Atmosphere. With incorporating spectroradiometer data that measures the radiation in distinct visible through infrared spectral bands, the algorithms are able to calculate surface and atmospheric profile flux measurements as well as provide interpolated and averaged cloud properties, aerosol and other atmospheric properties from other data resources.
